The Migration Period cemetery of Hauskirchen, Lower Austria, was discovered in 1967. Despite its graves being looted in the early Middle Ages, it remains an exceptional example of the Lombard period in Austria. Through this site, the aim was to vividly portray the history of the so-called princess' grave, which includes a chariot, buried horses, and golden horse bridles. The story of the life and death of the buried individual and her community should be told here, followed by the looting of the grave goods, and finally, by the involvement of the archaeologists until the display of the finds in the museum.
